OMAHA (DTN) -- The U.S. corn crop is rated 67% good to excellent and the soybean crop 66% good to excellent in their first condition ratings of the year, according to USDA NASS's weekly Crop Progress report released on Monday.
Corn was 93% planted, 76% emerged and 67% of the crop was rated in good-to-excellent condition.
Soybeans were 87% planted and 65% emerged, with 66% rated in good-to-excellent condition.
Spring wheat reached 94% complete, with 72% of the crop emerged and 47% rated in good-to-excellent condition.
NASS estimated U.S. winter wheat conditions at 26% good to excellent. The crop was 87% headed and 5% was harvested.
